The Journey Church is a community of believers seeking to bring hope and healing to our community and the world ... transforming lives, communities, and the culture to reflect God's heart for all peoples.
A Thrill of Hope
Christmas is an event, but Advent is a season beginning on the fourth Sunday before Christmas.
The term Advent is taken from the Latin word adventus, which means “arrival” or “coming,” and was from the translation of the Greek word parousia—a word used for both the coming of Christ in human flesh and his Second Coming. During the season of Advent, we look forward not only to Christmas, but beyond Christmas—and even beyond Easter—to when Jesus will come again.
In our Advent series, we'll be looking at the question, "Where is hope?" And the answer, of course, is Jesus!
Please join us Sundays at 10:30am and for our special Christmas Eve Candlelight service at 4:30pm on Tuesday, December 24.

To make disciples of Christ, who make disciples of Christ who: Love God, Obey God and Serve God.
We see a caring community, who, by practically and creatively demonstrating the love of God, plants churches, equips and encourages families and individuals to thrive in the power of Christ.
