The Journey Church is a community of believers seeking to bring hope and healing to our community and the world ... transforming lives, communities, and the culture to reflect God's heart for all peoples.
This Summer we are studying The Story of the Bible. We'll look at what the Bible is, how we got the Bible as we know it, the process of translation, and how to discern the heart of God through His Word.

Sunday Worship Service 10:30 am
IN-PERSON SERVICES SUSPENDED
The number of local COVID-19 cases hss reached a level that puts Tuolumne County on the state's monitoring list. As a result, numerous businesses—including places of worship—are again being directed to close.
In light of this, we will not hold in-person services for at least the next two weeks, August 2 and 9. We will, of course, do a livestream at the regular time of 10:30am.
Please continue to pray for our church, community, state, and nation. Please continue to join me in demonstrating love to others in any way you can: call a friend, write a note, deliver a meal, wear a mask, speak encouraging words.Look for ways you can practice being God's people, in the place God has you, enjoying his presence. Continue to practice worshipping God every day in new ways.
We will continue to stream services online. If you participate through Facebook Live you will have the opportunity to engage through your comments and "Likes," just as you have been doing.
Audio recordings of selected past messages are available on our Sermons page.
love and health
In light of the ongoing public health crisis—and the rapidly-increasing number of COVID-19 cases in Tuolumne County, The Journey Church is taking every reasonable precaution in our services and activities. One of those precautions is wearing face masks.
While we recognize that there are different opinions about masks—both politically and scientifically—we are choosing to express love for others by choosing to wear face masks when we gather.
If for any reason you choose not to wear a mask, we strongly encourage you to express your love for others by worshipping online from home.
In addition, we ask that you stay home if...
To make disciples of Christ, who make disciples of Christ who: Love God, Obey God and Serve God.
We see a caring community, who, by practically and creatively demonstrating the love of God, plants churches, equips and encourages families and individuals to thrive in the power of Christ.
