Slightly over two years ago, I received the high honor of being voted in as the Journey's Pastor with the understanding that eventually we would begin the process of looking for a new and full-time Pastor. In preparation for that, the Church board proposed four goals, and the Members approved them. The thought was, when these goals were reached, we would begin the process of a Pastoral search.
GOD, IN HIS FAITHFULNESS, HAS ALLOWED US TO REACH THOSE GOALS!
The two verses above give us a glimpse into the very nature of God:
GOD IS GREAT!
GOD IS OUR ROCK!
GOD'S WORKS ARE PERFECT!
GOD'S WAYS ARE JUST!
GOD IS FAITHFUL!
GOD DOES NO WRONG!
GOD IS UPRIGHT!
GOD IS JUST!
Because of God's faithfulness and provision, we are now able to begin that search. We will be in deep prayer as we select a search committee and begin the task of preparing a church profile as well as a Pastor profile.
We are a church of truly loving, caring and compassionate people. Why not visit us sometime and enjoy our fellowship?
